EDGAR MUÑOZ. J Mr. Muñoz holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Master of Laws (LLM) from London Metropolitan University, and postgraduate degrees in Capital Markets, Financial Legislation and Administrative Law. For over ten years of professional experience he has served as Advisor at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Legal Counsel at the Vice-presidency of Banco Davivienda SA, Legal Manager at Citibank-Colombia S.A., and Senior Associate at several Colombian major Law Firms. Mr. Muñoz's experience has focused on local and international investment transactions, corporative law, banking and capital markets, investment banking, FX regulation, investment funds, treasury operations and syndicate loans. Mr. Muñoz has been involved in several major transactions as the incorporation of financial institutions, merger and acquisitions of publicly traded companies, derivatives transactions, and issuance of securities at the local and international market. During his time at the Ministry of Finance Mr. Muñoz performed as legal advisor for several financing transactions carried out by the Republic of Colombia as well as municipalities and public companies, locally and internationally. Mr. Muñoz also acted as coordinator of the ISDA’s committee, in charge of negotiating and approving derivatives transactions carried out by all public entities. Mr. Muñoz is a member of the Board of Directors of a financial entity, and member of the Surveillance Committee of one of the major investment funds in Colombia.
